Held in beautiful Whangamata over the Easter Weekend 19th - 22nd April 2019, at the Whangamata Scout Hall, 130 Lincoln Rd (end of the road!) Retreat Opens: Friday evening, 19th April @ 7.15pm Welcome & Kirtan with inspirational ideas on Bhakti Yoga, The Yoga of Love, with Acharya das, The Mantra Band, Doug Dillon & other special guests. Then from Saturday 20th April: Each morning (Sat 20th, Sun 21st & Mon 22nd) 8.30 am: Meditation with Paramahamsa das. 9.00 am: Hatha Yoga with The Heart of Yoga crew from Auckland. 10.00am: International Yoga Wisdom Teacher Acharya das will speak on Bhakti Yoga The Yoga of Love. 11.00 am: Morning Tea Afternoons free to enjoy group or solo bushwalks & waterfalls, superb beaches, picnics & even free surf lessons available. Evenings: (Friday 19th, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st April...) 7.15pm: Inspirational insights on Bhakti Yoga, The Yoga of Love and Kirtan each evening with Acharya das, The Mantra Band, Doug Dillon and other special guests. Retreat finishes before lunchtime (after our morning tea) on Monday 22nd April. Children must be supervised at all times though & we also ask that consideration is shown to others during talks & classes please. (There is a huge playing field right outside the scout hall & a big tent for them to run around & play! What are my parking options at the event? Parking is available outside the hall and in Aiken Rd. What can I bring to the event? If you would like to do hatha yoga, please bring your own yoga mat if possible. What's the refund policy? No refunds sorry as the requested donation is a nominal amount as it is. It's a non-profit community event run by volunteers & we won't be covering costs as it is! Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes please! Either on your device or on paper! Will food be provided/available? Please provide yourself with your main meals, there are plenty of shops & cafes in Whangamata or bring yourself a packed breakfast / lunch & dinner! We will provide tea and snacks twice a day!
